The Laws of God

(1 John 3:12) "Not as Cain, who was of that wicked one, and slew his brother. And wherefore slew he him? Because his own works were evil, and his brother's righteous." Cain wanted to worship God in his own way, instead of a blood sacrifice, as God had sacrificed an animal in the Garden of Eden, to cover the sins of Adam and Eve. Cain offered the fruit of the field, and as the saying goes; "You can't get blood from a turnip."

God Almighty knows the hearts of men. Cain harbored anger and jealousy towards his brother Abel from the beginning. And the works of Cain's' hands, he wanted to out-do Abel by thinking God would praise him more for his sacrifice, that he worked so hard to produce. His anger for his brother lead to another sin, murder, the root of this sin was hatred and envy of the godly.

Our Lord Jesus says to be angry with one unjustly is sin. (Matthew 5:22) "But I say unto you, That whosoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment: and whosoever shall say to his brother, Raca, shall be in danger of the council: but whosoever shall say, Thou fool, shall be in danger of hell fire."

But there is a time to be angry. (Ephesians 4:26-27) "Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath: Neither give place to the devil." Many times we get angry with our children when they break the rules of the household but we still love them dearly. Like our Heavenly Father gets angry with us when we break his rules, as parents, we get angry because we know that the rules that we make for our children prevent harm from coming to them.

(Isaiah 3:10-11) "Say ye to the righteous, that it shall be well with him: for they shall eat the fruit of their doings. Woe unto the wicked! it shall be ill with him: for the reward of his hands shall be given him." God will render to every man according to the works of his hands, the things that we do here on earth. If we follow our Lord Jesus and obey the Ten Commandments as He did, with the help of the Comforter, the Holy Spirit, will we not be rewarded now and much more in the end?

(Matthew 5:20) "For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven." We exceed the righteousness of the Scribes and Pharisees by obeying the commandments by "the letter AND the spirit of the law."

Every family, township, providence, state, country and kingdom upon this earth has rules or laws to live by and special days to honor as members and citizens. When we break any of them we are judged and punished with a penalty or consequence. God's Holy Kingdom has holy laws and holy Days. A major difference that God's Kingdom has over earthly dominions is that He has given us a free gift of a pardon for breaking His laws, if we wish to accept it. We accept the pardon by REPENTING of our own ways and accepting Christ Jesus as our sacrifice AND FOLLOWING HIM and His way. Jesus becomes our Savior AND Lord.

But the churches today SHAMELESSLY promote lawlessness with sins such as homosexuality and the murder of innocence through the heinous act of abortion, just to name a few. (Isaiah 3:9) "The shew of their countenance doth witness against them; and they declare their sin as Sodom, they hide it not. Woe unto their soul! for they have rewarded evil unto themselves." Those which knowingly and openly commit sin after accepting Jesus sacrifice for their past sins are self-destructive and commit suicide by their own hands, and Jesus will say to them: (Matthew 7:23) "And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity."

Many churches cause Gods people to err and destroy the way of Jesus. (Isaiah 3:12) "As for my people, children are their oppressors, and women rule over them. O my people, they which lead thee cause thee to err, and destroy the way of thy paths." Oppressors literally means, "exactors," that is, exacting princes as in (Isaiah 60:17). The leaders of these church who ought to be feeding and protecting the followers of Christ Jesus, are exactors; as unqualified to rule as "children who lack knowledge and understanding", and as effeminate as "women who lack strength and authority." They teach that there is no Holy law to be kept and that there is no consequences to our actions. They teach that everything and everyone is acceptable in God's eyes.

That is not what Jesus said in the Holy Scriptures: (Matthew 5:18-19) "For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven."

Like the physical laws of "nature" that cannot be violated without harm falling on the violator, so are our Lords' Spiritual laws. The non-technological definition of the law of gravity, states: "What goes up must come down." If I try to break that law by walking off the top of a ten story building and live, the outcome would be deadly and a work of my own doings. Claiming ignorance to the law, that I violated, will not keep me from committing suicide when I walk off the edge.

The first four commandments of the Ten Commandments show us how to worship our Lord God and the last six show us how to love our neighbors or all of mankind. Jesus taught that when we break any of God the Fathers Spiritual laws, that too is deadly. It is up to each parent to, not only teach our children of the consequences of breaking Gods' "natural" laws, but more importantly, it is their duty to teach Gods' Spiritual and moral laws and the penalty for breaking them.

Yes, we have ALL fallen short of the Glory of God by breaking His Spiritual laws and ALL deserve the judgment or consequence of death. But when we accept the payment, of Christ Jesus as our Passover Lamb, for our penalty, we are to REPENT, to turn from our own ways, the way of Cain, and to start following our Lord Jesus way. If we continue in our own ways, there is no more sacrifice for our sin. (Hebrews 10:26) "For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,"

Our Holy Heavenly Father has given us an instruction book, with His laws or boundaries and His Holy Spirit to guide us to the way of life. (Isaiah 66:16) "For by fire and by his sword will the LORD plead with all flesh: and the slain of the LORD shall be many." Our Lord God will judge all with His Holy Spirit and with His instruction book, the Word of God, and all men shall know the truth but many will still be slain because they love evil. Christ Jesus knew the hearts of men also: (John 3:19) "And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil."

(Jude 1:11) "Woe unto them! for they have gone in the way of Cain, and ran greedily after the error of Balaam for reward, and perished in the gainsaying of Core."

There are only two ways to live our lives, God the Fathers and our Lord Jesus way OR our own way. Which way will you choose? (Deuteronomy 30:19) "I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live:"
